Can something wrong with your thyroid cause periods to be a no show for a while I haven t had a period in two months, not pregnant and been having some bloody mucus off and on. I only get this bloody mucus after I wipe when I pee.
Thyroid disorder is related to menstrual disturbances.... Hyperthyroid can lead to menorrhagia (excessive bleeding), hypothyroid can lead to oligomenorrhea( decreased frequency of menses)... you need to get your Thyroid profile done, and rule out the Thyroid disorder... There are many other cause for secondary amenorrrhea , like deficiency of gonadotrophic hormone,... hence you need to be clinically evaluated, consult a gynecologist...
