Hello,

You have a history of CMT(sensory neuropathy & hereditary motor). Peripheral neuropathy takes time to cure, diabetes may trigger the symptoms. If diabetic control your glucose levels at all cost.

Ultraviolet radiations( Anodyne light therapy) according to research study is not very effective. However, if medicines are not working, you can consult your treating doctor about it.

Therapy that is effective are TENS, Trans-cutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, physical therapy, plasma exchange & iv immunoglobin or surgery if needed.

You can apply Capsaicin locally & take Lidocaine patch for relieve. Your treating doctor may give you pain relievers, antidepressants, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
