Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi.! I had an pregnancy test done on 11/30/17 which said I was pregnant...I started bleeding two weeks after & the E.R. Dr. said I was threatening a miscarriage but baby was fine.! I went today and now I have a negative result on the pregnancy test. I also have Uterine Fibroids and a Cyst on my ovaries do you think I could’ve miscarried from those and didn’t know.?!
The chances of miscarriage in your case is depends upon the size and place of uterine fibroid. Bigger size fibroid at the site of implantation may cause improper progress of fetal development and miscarriage.
Did you have taken medication for fibroid? Did you conceived while on fibroid medicines?
As these medications contain anti-estrogen, chances of termination is also high. It is better to consult with gynecologist and plan pregnancy after treatment of fibroid.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
