If you knew in your heart that you were ready, would you be asking a bunch of strangers? Are you ready for any consequences such as infections or pregnancy? Those can happen no matter how hard you try and prevent them. I'm not trying to sound harsh. I was 16 (and not given a choice) and I would give ANYthing if I could go back in time and have that choice to make.
