Does Amlodopine Cause Problems If Taken While Having COPD?
To treat my high blood pressure, I take Losartan once a day, Metoprolol tartrate am and pm, furosemide once a day. My blood pressure recently has crept up to 150 to 160, so my doctor prescribed Amlodopine 5 mg once a day, but I have just read that amlodopine can be a problem if a person has COPD, which I have. Amlodipine intake is not contraindicated in people suffering COPD. You can take amlodipine combined with other prescribed drugs for blood pressure, without pulmonary side effects.I wish you good health.
