Does Aortic Stenosis With A Bicuspid Valve Cause Left Arm And Chest Discomfort?
I am 57 and I have aortic stenosis with a bicuspid valve. Can this cause left arm and chest discomfort? I have been lightheaded a few times as well. I am scheduled for open heart surgery Tuesday. Is the mechanical valve better than tissue valve? Thank you.
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your symptoms chest pain and discomfort with light headadness following a diagnosed aortic stenosis and bicuspid valve I am suggesting yes this heart condition usually caused the above symptoms
Concerning whether mechanical valve is better than tissue valve I will suggest tissue valve because of the risk of infection
I hope this helps Regards
