Does Arimidex Cause Fatty Liver ?
My wife has been diagnosed with fatty liver don't know the degree yet - ct scan scheduled for Monday. She had breast cancer a year ago and has been taking arimidex. In my research it appears that there are cases that arimidex causes fatty liver - what do you think/know?

You have been prescribed anastrozole drug for breast cancer...
It can sometimes lead steatohepatitis (you are right) and elevated liver enzymes
But other causes should be ruled out like...
-alcohol
-high cholesterol
-Obesity
-Smoking etc....
For fatty liver dietary and life style modification done
Take low fat diet and fruits and green leafy vegetables more
Investigate with serum sgpt and sgot for look for degree of hepatic injury by this drug
