Does Aspirin Cause Stinging Sensation In The Feet?
My husband had A very mild heart attack in October. No heart damage. Had to have stint in main artery which was 95% blocked. No other arteries had more than 30% plaque. Only one had that, rest only 20%. We think it is hereditary. Grandfather, father, and 2 uncle s died suddenly from heart attacks. He is 74 years old. Told that is normal for his age. Placed on several meds that we had to take him off of because of side effects. He is only on brilinta and amlodipine. Highly allergic to aspirin. We think he may be reacting to the amlodipine. Feet and legs stinging, mostly from knees down. Did not take it today, stinging almost gone. Blood pressure has been fine without it. Do you think this is a side effect?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Amlodipine usually causes swelling in legs and feet. You can check for diabetes. In diabetes, later stages patient gets such symptoms. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
