General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Atorvastatin can cause muscle aches and pains but would not normally cause the fuzzy head sensation you are experiencing.

You can discuss these symptoms with your doctor, there is the option of reducing your dose or discontinuing your medication for a short period of time or discontinuing it.
An alternative can be used to help reduce your cholesterol and risk of heart disease/stroke.

Your doctor may also want to consider other possible causes of your symptoms such as infection, uncontrolled chronic illness, autoimmune disease.

I hope this helps
