Does Avil25 Help To Treat Nasal Blockage And Mucus Accumulation?

I have been having nose block due to mucus accumulation.This is causing irritation and difficulty in breathing.I was prescribed nasal spray and dmontus tablets.There was no relief at all.By chance I took avil25 one day for slight itching on the skin.To my surprise I found that I felt better and the discomfort due to the block was less the next day. I continued the tablet for 3 days and I am more or less rid of the nose block and phlegm accumulation. The problem which persisted for almost a year inspite of using allegra and dmontus was cured with 3 tablets of avil25.Can you please advice on this issue.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of nasal blockage and mucus accumulation which could be due to allergic rhinitis as you got relieved after taking Avil which is generally used to treat allergic conditions. Need not to worry. If condition persists i would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order nasal swab test and blood tests to get complete examination done and start treatment accordingly. For now start doing gargles and drink one spoon of honey mix with glass of lukewarm water. Do nasal saline rinses. Take steam inhalation on daily basis.
