I have both AZAX 500 and ciprobid 500 ...my symptoms are swollen glands, sore throat and sinues which have been a problem for 6 days and today went into sore throat...occ violent coughing..using codine cough medicine..question is which of he above 2 drugs would be better or not
As per your complain it seems that you have an infection in throat and can be bacterial or viral in nature.. As you have antibiotics like Azax 500 that contains Azithromycin as active ingredient and Ciprobid that contains Ciprofloxacin.. My suggestion would be that you should take Azax 500 once daily for 5 days.. Along with it you can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like advil or aleve, do warm saline gargles.. Take cough suppressants containing Dextromethorphan and Guaifenesin.. Suck throat lozenges.. In case of no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
