Suggest Treatment For Recurring Sore Throat And White Patches On Throat

Why i keep having a sore throat within six months ..from december i had a flu with terrible sore throat..february i had terrible sore throat and now just yesterday i am having a sore throat again its very painful as theres a white patches inside..im in pain..what can i do about it?

Hi..Can understand your concern..As per your query about recurrent sore throat and having white patch can be a infection (bacterial viral or fungal) or tonsillitis and needs to be examined by a ENT or an oral surgeon.A biopsy of the lesion is needed to know the origin of infection.Till the time you need to warm saline rinses or betadiene gargles along with analgesic like paracetamol if it is hurting more.Avoid chilly and spices in food.Quit any smoking or drinking habits if present.You should take multivitamin supplements for few months.I hope the information helps you.
