I went to the ER last night with pain in my belly button area. It was red all around it and when I bent over it was horrible. They diagnosed me.with cellulitus and gave me bactrim. Well just now I bent over for aomething and felt a big sharp pain. I laid on my back and foul smelling blood and puss kept oozing out. Not sure if the Bactrim is what will helpe now or i need to go to soctpr again for aomethi f different
The Bactrim is an antibiotic used for the control of various bacterial organisms in cases of infections of various types. The Bactrim has no concern with pain relief properties, unless the reduction in inflammation will give pain reduction over a period of time. You need additional prescription of analgesic with anti inflammatory properties such as - Diclofenac sodium - Ibuprofen - Acetaminophen - Tramadol hydrochloride
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
