Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I started taking 2000mcg of d-biotin about a month ago. I developed cystic acne on my cheeks and under chin and finally stopped taking the biotin 4-5 days ago. My skin is clearing up. However, it now tingles and has a slight burning sensation. Could this be due to the biotin?
Biotin is a B7 vitamin which is water soluble and used in many biochemical reactions. Pantothenic acid B5 is one which causes burning sensation of the skin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
