Does Cabergoline Treatment Causes False Positive Pregnancy Test Results?
Hello doctor hopes are good. Pls I am a girl of 36years. Am on cabagoline treatment due to high level of prolactin. If I stop the tablet my prolactin rises and I have irregular periods. For the past6weeks I have missed my period. I did the home test for 3times and all prove positive. I am not having any syntoms of pregnancy. All am felling is abdominal pains as if my period is coming and its continues. Doctor am confuse pls I want to know if cabagoline can give a false pregnancy result thank you.

Cabergoline does not cause false positive test. You can go for a beta hCG test to check whether you are pregnant or not. BetaHCG is the confirmatory test for pregnancy.
