Does Cephalexin Help To Treat Vomiting And Body Aches?
I m 25 yrs old. I got bitten by a dog on Thu morning, and that evening I also ate a frozen dinner. That night I started vomiting and to this day, I have not been able to hold any food down and I also have body aches. I don t have a job and no insurance. So my friend who had two wisdom tooth extractions was able to get me one week s worth (4xdaily) of Cephalexin 500mg which I started to take yesterday. What else can I do and what s the best way to take care of myself?

From history it seems that there might be having gastro-enteritis giving this problem.
Antibiotic Cephalexin will help to control infection but to stop vomiting you have to take some anti-emetic medicine like Domstal or Ondem.
After vomiting stops take antibiotic.
Afterwards take plenty of water, electrolytes and ORS water.
Take light diet for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
