The medicine like cipralex is an antidepressant drug which known to cause many side effects in long term use . As per your query your are experiencing weight gain and lack of sleep . This drug cipralex known to cause lack of sleep as one of its side effects but it is not known to cause weight gain instead ic cause decrease of appetite . I would suggest you to consult your doctor may discus the problems you experiencing with this drug . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe some substitute .
