Does Cipro Cause Blood In Urine?

What is the incidence of CIPRO side effects? My husband began having blood in his urine yesterday, less today. He will have a renal ultrasound in a week. The potential side effects cause him to question whether he should take the Cipro his Dr. has prescribed.

Hi , Ciprofloaxcin is actually used in management in hematuria ( urine in blood) treatment . You should give it to your husband if it has been prescribed by some doctor . Hematuria is not a side effect of Cipro . Even if it occurs then according to latest studies , its incidence is just (0.01% to 0.1%)
