Does Ciprofloxacin Worsen Peripheral Neuropathy And Tendon Problems?

My doctor prescribed Ciproflosxacin HCL 500 MG for diverticulitis. When I picked it up at my pharmacy, I noticed the information sheet said that the side effects included peripheral neuropathy and tendon problems. Since I already have those problems, but my doc didn t know, should I begin taking the med or contact my doc in the morning before starting it?

These side effects can happen only with prolonged use. Nothing much to worry when you use it for a shorter duration.
