Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You have to bring him to a psychiatrist as soon as possible. Because these drugs are indicated for reducing the risk of recurrent suicidal behavior in people with psychosis and schizophrenia.

If your friend still wants to commit suicide, he should get treated by the psychiatrist for appropriate treatment. This is an emergency situation.

You can help him by:
• Be yourself. Let the person know you care, that he is not alone.
• Listen. Let the suicidal person unload despair, ventilate anger.
• Be sympathetic, non-judgmental, patient, calm, accepting.
• Offer hope.
• Take the person seriously.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nurul Falah
