Does Coumadin Slow Down The Metabolism Of Alcohol?
My husband was on coumadin and was killed in an accident, he did drink at night while he was on coumadin, he's on coumadin for leinen factor 5 (sp) Does coumadin slow down the metabolism of alcohol? I know the effect the alcohol has on coumadin. He was found to have a blood alcohol level of .08. I know he didn't drink in the morning and was always in bed by 730 am. Is it possible by taking coumadin it slowed down the metabolism of the alcohol? He was taking 10 mg every day except for Mo and Fri when he took 7.5 mg
