Dear Sir, Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.
Cremalax which contains Sodium Picosulphate is a laxative commonly prescribed for the symptomatic relief of
constipation. It's most common side-effects include
abdominal pain or cramps, loose motions,
dizziness, nausea, and allergic skin rash.
It is unlikely to be the cause of
weight loss.
Based on the history you have a significant weight loss over few years.
It could be due to some underlying chronic inflammatory disease of the bowel, or cancer of the large bowel.
In view of the above possibilities I would advise you to undergo endoscopy,
colonoscopy as well as stool analysis to rule out any underlying disease as mentioned above.
Wishing you best of your health.
