Does Crest Syndrome Cause Blotchy Gray Arms ?

My son`s arms are a blotchy gray, we were wondering if it could be Crest Syndrom or something else, we are not sure what doctor to start with, in the past year he had a colonopcopy (he is only 18) due intestinal issues, which came out okay, and is being treated for eating disorder, he is vegan.
