Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had CABG surgery in 2011. Bypasssed 3 vessels, the 4th (LAD) was 100% blocked. During surgery 3 thoracic nerves were severed near the spine - this is merely an opinion from the symptoms, I have no actual diagnosis other than chronic chest wall pain following thoracic surgery. The pain clinic I attend has given me cyclobenzaprine, 10mg 3x/day for pain/muscle spasms. My pulse has increased - maybe doubled. It is 120+ at rest. I am willing to bet that cyclobenzaprine has caused this. What say you?

Does Cyclobenzaprine Cause Increased Pulse Rate?
Hello, My answer is yes. It may cause heart problems like: Fainting. Heart palpitations (fast or irregular heartbeat). Confusion. So please consult your physician he will examine and treat you with alternate medication. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
