Does Depo Provera Or Essure Side Effect Cause Vaginal Spotting?
I had a depo provera shot 11 weeks ago and them Essure 4 weeks ago. I have bright red spotting for 22 days. Is this a side effect of coming off the depo or related to Essure? I do not plan to get another depo shot. I only did it to get Essure. Thank you.

Yes both depo provera and essure can cause vaginal bleeding ,spotting and abdominal cramps.It will regularise in the following months.
Breakthrough bleeding, spotting, and changes to menstrual flow are some of the most common side effects during the first year of use.
