Does Depo Shot Cause Loss Of Appetite?

Hey....on the depo shot I was wondering if it s weird to have a really big loss of appetite? Cause I keep hearing it s supposed to make you have an increased appetite so I wasn t sure...thank you sorry for the weird question lol And the next question is if you were over weight and then started the depo and wanted to lose weight would that be even possible?

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, depo is known to increase weight and at times increased appetite too.

At times however steroids can cause stomach acid upset and that may lead to inflammation of stomach lining or decreased appetite as well.

The weight gain, however, is due to fat deposition and not due to an increase in muscle mass necessarily.
