General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Depo shot contain hormone progesterone
Yes it can affect the fetus.
Report suggested that it can cause congenital defect, low birth weight in the baby.
You should require close follow up in the USG in first and second trimester to know the effect of shot on body to identify the deformity.
If you do not want to take risk , you can do abortion as a medical indication.

Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
