Does Diane 35 Cause Swollen Breasts, Abdominal Pain And Delayed Periods?
Hello doctor.. I am 21yr (f) i am consulting gynaecologist as i am diagnosed with pcod. She adviced me to take diane 35 after 8days of my last period.. After completing my 21 days doses i had a several problems like highs pain, breast swallowen with mild pain, abdominal pain.. What would i do now..?? Still 3days left from 7days gap n no period till now.. Should i continue this medicine or not?
Your symptoms are common with oral contraceptive pills (Diane 35). I would advice you to wait until your get your period. If you are sexually active, take a pregnancy test if you haven't got your period within a week.
See your OBGYN with results even if negative pregnancy test. You may need an ultrasound of the abdomen to rule out ovarian cysts..
Again, do not continue to take the pill or restart a new course until seen by your doctor.
Hope this answers your questions. Please let me if you would like further clarification.
Wish you good health
