Does Diane Help In Preventing Pregnancy?

Hi Dr I m 27 yrs old. I did intercourse with my wife before 14 days without any protection(condom). I don t want that my wife become pragnant and she din t hv periods until now.she also taking Diane tablets from intercourse day. So Dr. Plz tell me what should I do fir not bcome her pragnant?

Understand your concern
Diane is good contraceptive pill and help in prevent the pregnancy.
But it should be taken regularly from the first day of cycle, for 21 day daily at specific time.
If you have not taken the pill starting (from the first day of period) then it will not protect against the pregnancy.
If period will be delay by 8-10 days then go for pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy.
If you will be pregnant then still you can terminate the pregnancy by the abortion up to 9 week of pregnancy under the advice of gynecologist.
