Does Duloxetine Cause Constipation?
My doctor prescribed Duloxetine 30 mg once daily for anxiety. I ve been taking it for several weeks and suddenly have constipation (so embaressing!). I swim laps 3 days a week for about 20 minutes and take water aerobic workout classes 5 days a week. I try and eat lots of salads, no junk food. Can the Duloxetine cause this constipation and if so can I just quit taking it. Thanks

Yes it's possible but instead of stopping it I would advise ispaghula husk and olive oil to relieve the constipation.
