Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Duphaston contains 'dydrogesterone', which is a synthetic progesterone. It is used to treat a variety of conditions that are as a result of lack of progesterone. It helps to regulate the healthy growth and normal shedding of the uterine lining.
In your case, it must have been given to regulate your menstrual cycle as you are detected with polycystic ovary. It is noted that ovulation does not take place properly due to irregular menstrual cycles in polycystic ovarian disease. Regularizing your cycles would help to improve your chances of conception.
There is no worse outcomes noted with more ejaculations. What matters for fertility is sperm count, sperm morphology and sperm motility. Normally it takes about 72 hours for fresh sperm production to take place.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
