Hello,

Since you are planning for a baby, you are suggested to stay with your partner. Infertility treatment requires the treatment of both the partners. Visit a gynecologist and get the treatment started, in the meantime stay away from addictions if any. Stress, anxiety and tension are not good, avoid them. Take nutritious home made food rich in calcium, protein & vitamins.

Female infertility tests include blood for TSH, DHEAS. HSG, ovaria reseve testing, trans-vaginal USG, LH, laparoscopy etc. Male fertility testing requires seminal analysis, scrotal USG, hormone testing, testicular biopsy, sperm function tests etc.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
