Does Duphaston Intake Help In Regularizing Menstrual Periods?

Hi I hve a problem about my monthly period,I am 40 yrs old now and I only hve my period evry 4 months.My doctor told me I am in a menipousal stage then he gve me a duphaston to take so that I can hve my period.Is it possible that I can hve my period after taking ths?

Hi,

If you are in premenopause the hormonal shuffle must have already started to cause some imbalance. In such circumstances, Duphaston may cause different bleeding pattern.

Actually, once menopause starts there is no point in having monthly bleeding with the hormonal intake.

I would suggest waiting for menopause patiently & once it's there then start with HRT with a gynecologist advise for maintaining femininity & health.
