Does Elavil Cause Loss Of Vision In The Eye?

yes i have a friend that has diabetes and high blood pressure and was prescribed Elavil and developed blurred vision and swas taken to the hospital for emergency procedure because his pressure in his eye was very high and ended up losing the vision in that eye could the Elavil been a cause of that

I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. Elavil may cause some mild eye disorders such as blurred vision but vision loss is not reported side effect and this is not likely the cause of it. So he should find another cause which may be high eye pressure , diabetic ophtalmopathy or some optic nerve issue.
