Does Ellaone Help In Preventing Pregnancy After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi I finished my period last Saturday had sex with my partner on Sunday. We used a condom but it broke and unfortunately he cummed in me. I took Ellaone two/three hours later. However on Monday I found broken condom in me. Can this make me pregnant? Also this is first time I took Ellaone and have been feeling sick but not vomiting, got cramps and needing to pee. Is this normal or sign of pregnancy. I have a feeling I m peeing because I m nervous. I have to wait two more weeks till I can take a test!

Ellaone is 'morning after pill'. It is used to prevent unwanted or accidental pregnancy.
What you have done is right by taking it by 2 to 3 hours, as such pill needs to be taken within 24 hours of the act.
Some of them could experience certain side effects like feeling sick, tiredness, abdominal pain or bloating, occasional spotting and so on, but would subside with time.
The pill acts by delaying the release of egg and would cause breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake.
You need to take urine pregnancy test and seek medical attention promptly if you do not get your periods by 3 weeks.
For now, relax and wait for your periods to happen.
