Does Estrace Cause Bloating And Green Bowel Movements?

Hello. For the past five days I have had off and on stomach bloating and cramping and also have had looser stools and the color has been more of a dark green. I am 54 years old, female, 125 pounds. I am trying to figure out if I ate something bad earlier in the week or I am also taking of vaginal cream Estrace and wondered if this has caused anything of this nature. I have taken the cream now for three weeks. No problems the first couple weeks if this is the case.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The brown color of the stool comes from changes that occur to the bile as it passes through the colon.
If a person is passing stool more frequently than usual then the bile does not have the time to undergo the changes and it remains green.

It is likely due to something that was eaten within 24 to 48 hours of the symptoms starting.
Probiotics would help

I hope this helps
