Does Finasteride Cause Cancer?
Does finasteride cause cancer and is it important for one to take after having prostate surgery. My dad saw this as a side effect and won t take this medication. Is it important to take it or can he just leave it off. He is also taking Flomax. Thank you

If your father's prostate is already removed by surgery then no need to take finasteride. Your physician might be concerned for urinary flow after surgery, that's why he continued Flomax for proper blood flow.
