Does Flagyl Cause Cramping In An IBS Patient?
I was just diagnosed with SIBO. Have IBS also but has always been manageable. Doc put me on Rifaxamin. FODMAP dietician wants me on Flagyl also as she says Rifaximin alone will not kill methane. My number was 47. I do not have constipation. I read Flagyl causes cramping. I don t need more of that.

Flagyl can cause cramps and abdominal pain. Also, it can cause constipation. You can take it up to 7 days and stop it.
