Does Follihair Cause Hair Loss?

Hello Doctor,I m using follihair since 6 months and today and day before yesterday I have seen my hair fall,by seeing that I got perplexed and afraid,is this hair fall is due to my usage of follihair for a long time ,I didn t take any doctor s recommendation for using this,i came to know through my friends and they are also using since long time,but I want to clarify that whether I should stop now and can i continue nor I should stop for a while and take a doctor s recommendation for using it,and my age is 20 years,..So what ll u suggest me to do,I don t have any thyroid problems too

I do not think your hair loss is due to Follihair medicine. Follihair is a multivitamin drug containing zinc, and it improves hair growth. It is important to know that why you were having hair loss in the first place.

If it is due to some hormonal disorder, then Follihair will not help because the hormonal imbalance has to be corrected. I would advise you to get yourself assessed by a skin specialist and endocrinologist for proper diagnosis. Meanwhile, you should stop taking Follihair.
