Does HCTZ Medication Have Adverse Side Effects?
Hello.....I was switched to the medicine Triam/hctz 37.5 mg back in December 2014. Since that time, I ve had the following symptoms just to name a few: tightness in chest, bloating/gas, no energy, no sex drive, irritability, weight gain, increased anxiety, etc. I am allergic to sulfa and after reading the comments this med has sulfa in it? I want to stop taking med immediately...should I stop on my own? I take 2 pills a day of metoprolol. I am appalled at the comments written about this terrible and deadly med. What are your thoughts?
