IF there is dried blood or some other bodily fluids on it then you have to think about it as solid needles can transmit diseases if there is bodily fluids on it.risk of transmission s only 0.38% so not much to worry.
Hi Srinath,thanks for query.Yes it can spread.Any thing which is contaminated with the blood of infected person may be needle or pin can spread the infection.This applies when the person is infected with HIV.Please be careful.
