Does HPV Cause Skin Peeling And Discoloration Of Nails On Foot?

I have been diagnosed with HPV back in 2008. I have had no symptoms so far or cervical abnormalities. My Dr. has told me they have no way of knowing what type of the 100 types of HPV I have. For about 6 months now I've had peeling skin and itching on my left foot and a couple of nails are white. I thought this was athletes foot so I've used various medications but none of them helped. Can this be a symptom of HPV? I'm really hoping that I don't have any of the cancer causing ones and would actually be happy if this is the type of HPV I got.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Peeling of skin and itching over your foot has no relation to your past HPV infection. Don't be anxious to know the sero-typing of the Wart virus as long as your PAPA smear remains normal.
The foot lesion could be due to contact dermatitis or due a fungal infection. Consult a Dermatologist for the same.
Get well soon.
