Does Hashimoto S Disease Cause Vision Issues?

Last fall I found out I had hashimoto s disease. I was already on a low dose of levothyroxine. The main reason I went in to get my blood work done was because my eyes were bothering me. It seemed like they were having a hard time focusing when I looked from one place to another. I ve been getting my thyroid tested and my dosage has gone up. Once I was on a higher dose of levothyroxine my eye problems went away. Last time my blood was checked my thyroid was at a good number. I need to get it checked again next week, but I m having problems with my vision again. Could this be from my hashimoto s disease or could I have other issues as well?

If there are severe hypothyroidism and associated eye signs, your vision may be affected.
Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.
