Does Hydrocodone Affect The Sperm Quality And Count?
My wife and I are trying to conceive. I had an SA done and my count, mobility, and morphology are all great. We have to go back in for insemination in a few weeks. I was prescribed hydrocodone 7.5 and I won t take them because I do not want them to affect my sperm quality and count. I do need them from time to time as my back and shoulder injury causes a lot of pain. Am I safe to take these without worrying too much about affects on my fertility?

Common side effects include anxiety, dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, constipation, headache, mood changes, blurred vision, ringing sensation in ears and dry mouth.
It is not known to affect sperm quality or sperm count to a significant extent.
