Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-: 1)first stop this medication as it has no relation with your sleep apnea 2)Do a polysomnography test and check your vital signs while in sleep 3)do a full blood count with differential 4)get check your nose and oral cavity by an ENT doctor 5)do an MRI scan to ruled out any neurological causes responsible 6)Do an ECG by all these tests you will be clear that what type of sleep apnea you have like obstructive sleep apnea, and central sleep apnea if obstructive sleep apnea found use EPAP.if conservative treatment treatment fails surgical treatment is the last option and for central sleep apnea treat underlying pathology of heart .
