Does Hydrocodone Help To Alleviate Cough?
Hi doc my name is mike I m fighting the flu it s been 2 weeks now . No fever sill coughing a lot mostly dry will the hyrocodone that I m taking for back pain help stop my coughing? And also is it un heard of to take a 2nd round of tamiflu?? I m self employed been off work for 2 weeks I need to get better fast need the money . What do you suggest? Thanks

Hydrocodone can suppress a cough. Since you are already on hydrocodone, you don't have to take any other cough suppressant. Taking the second round of Tamiflu after a five-day course is not needed. If the flu symptoms persist, follow up with your primary provider to rule out any other concomitant illness.
