Hi,
1. For your knowledge and concern, yes I pill works till 72 hours after having unprotected sexual intercourse.
2. She can take the pill if she is on her fertile days which are the mid-cycle days that is 14th day after your periods start counting from the first day of the period.
3. if she was not in ovulation phase then you can skip taking the pill as it will unnecessarily increase effects and mismanage further cycle.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
