Hi & Welcome.
Avoid taking these medications all together.
Pantoprazole should be taken on an empty stomach one hour before the breakfast. If you take other medications along with Pantoprazole, they may decrease the absorption of Pantoprazole and thus reducing its effectiveness in suppressing the stomach acid production.
The antifungal
Fluconazole is usually taken once a day, with or without food.
1. It may increase the blood levels and effects of
Montelukast such as headache, fever,
sore throat, cough,
abdominal pain, diarrhea, earache, runny nose, or uncommon but serious behavior and mood changes .
You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications.
2. It can also increase the blood levels and side effects of Pantoprazole such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and flatulence. During long-term treatment, you may also have an increased risk of developing
osteoporosis (thinning of the bones) & fractures.
Your doctor can prescribe alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use both the medications.
Levocetrzine can be taken along with
Amoxicillin, as there is no documented harmful interaction between the two when taken at the same time.
