Does Levothyroxine Cause Extreme Fatigue?
I am on a very high dose of levothyroxin (150MCG) as my thyroid test showed I have a very low thyroid level...this high dose is for 4 weeks, and then another blood test. Is this why I am totally tired...it is an effort to do the least bit of housework, etc.?

The fatigue you are experiencing is due to the hypothyroidism. Since you have been started on Levothyroxine, the fatigue will start subsiding eventually. Also, dose adjustment of levothyroxine may be needed according to the results of the next thyroid function test.
