Thank you. I am hypothyroid and taking Liothyronine. I cannot take Levothyronine as it causes depression. I am still low in T3 so my doctor advised me to increase the Liothyronine. Since the increase, I have had a migraine daily. I have suffered from migraines since the age of 7 and I am now 62. Apart from migraines, am healthy, slim and have an almost vegan diet. Can you please let me know if Liothyronine can cause migraines, if you are already a migraineur? I know that thyroid can also cause migraines. Thank you.

The common side effects associated with it are: weight loss, tremors, headache, stomach cramps & upset, vomiting, diarrhea, nervousness, irritability, insomnia, excessive sweating, increased appetite, changes in menstrual cycle and sensitivity to heat.
